I’ve stood at the top of the pit that I swore I’d never climb out of, in awe of how far I’ve come. Choosing sobriety wasn’t easy, but it was life changing.
It took healing to accept that my past doesn’t define me, and time to realize that my future holds more than I ever could have imagined. This isn’t false hope, and I’m living proof. Recovery is possible. Healing is possible. A new life is possible.
