TESTIMONIALS

Got my glasses today! I’m so thankful to my case manager, 😊 and to Field of Hope Community Campus for getting me this far in my recovery, and for getting me the things I need when I need them. I feel so much better now that I can see. Thank you so much. 🥰

“From hopeless to hopeful. With the help of my higher power and Field of Hope, I’m living proof that God loves me and has a plan for my life. Don’t give up before the miracle happens.”

My life before arriving at the Hope House was unmanageable and in a downward spiral. Stuck in addiction; I had overdosed, was in and out of jail, had lost my home my family and my daughter. I was broken, worn down, I was tired of life I had nothing left to lose. I eventually reached the point of just not caring if I died. I heard about the Field of Hope and decided to give it a try. Here I am three months later, and I am not the same person who walked through those doors. Now I have something I never had before, hope. Life today is wonderful. I have developed a relationship with God. My family is now a part of my life. Every day is better than the day before. The girls here are like family; the counselors care and are here for us through it all. Being sober is wonderful. Without God and the Field of Hope I may not be here today. I now love myself and others. I believe this place saved my life. This is the good life!

My life was really crazy before I came to the Hope House. I was mad all the time; I hated my life and myself. I was lost, broken and in pain. I had a hole in my heart that I tried to fill with drugs. I put my kids, my family and myself through so much. In 2017 I lost my mom and my brother, and my life got worse, so did my addiction. When I arrived at the Hope House, I was nervous. But since I’ve been here, I have found a good family in the other Hope House girls; they are great and a shoulder to cry on. The counselors and staff have big hearts and they care. I am grateful to get a second chance.

I came to the Field of Hope on September 21st, 2017. I was broken, angry, addicted to drugs and guilty of drug dealing. Through six months of intense soul searching, surrender, submission and sacrifice to Jesus Christ I found freedom. Hope House became my cocoon. For the first time in 36 years I felt whole, complete, worthy and loved. I’ve learned to trust God completely. Every day, He shows me He’s given me the power within to be reborn; I’ve become a butterfly. God has taken me from dope dealer to Hope Dealer.

D. is still sober and expressed to me how much she enjoyed learning who Jesus is and all the other things she learned while there." She came directly to me when she left FOH and she is incorporating what she learned there in her continued journey.

Since I've come home, I've realized how important my coping skills really are, and I just want to thank you for everything you have done for me. I have been working on my boundaries still and am being much more assertive than I ever thought possible, I have been making it to meetings too. Please thank Amber, Joe, Kevin, and all the other house mom's and counselors that played a part in my recovery. This couldn't have been possible without you guys and God! I'm extremely grateful for your help and will always remember what Field of Hope has done for me!!
