As we get ready to enter 2023, it’s important to ensure that families whose lives and livelihoods have changed these past few years are not forgotten. Organizations such as Field of Hope and Gallia-Jackson-Meigs ADAMH Board work to try to help those who are lost in addiction and unsure where to go or who to turn to.
As we say goodbye to September and Recovery month, we wanted to reflect on what recovery means. Recovery can mean more time with your loved ones, more time traveling, more time seeing what God has in store for you. For us, recovery means a second chance.
On August 31, 2022, Field of Hope hosted a celebration of recovery and remembrance of those that have been lost due to overdose. Ohio Overdose Awareness Day: Change the Conversation in Gallia County was day of awareness, remembrance, and prevention in our community.
